This page explains which information this website handles, why, and what you can do about it. We have tried to keep it short and readable rather than legalistic.

Information created when you visit

Like almost every website, ours is delivered by a hosting provider whose servers keep technical request logs. These can include your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser type. They exist to deliver pages and protect the service against abuse, and they are deleted on the provider's routine schedule.

The consent cookie

When you answer the cookie notice, a small cookie stores your choice so the notice does not reappear on every page. It holds no name, email or other identifying detail. More about it is on the cookie basics page.

When you write to us

If you email the address on our contact page, we receive your address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to read and answer your message, keep the correspondence as long as it is useful for that conversation, and never sell or rent it to anyone.

Links to other websites

Some articles link to external sites. Once you follow such a link, that site's own privacy rules apply, and we have no control over what it collects.

Your rights

Changes to this page

If the way the site handles data changes, this page changes with it. The current version is always the one published here.
